The "NTI tss" appliance ®   is a dental splint intended for people who grind or clench their teeth (known as bruxism ). Traditional soft bite splints can be effective at protecting the teeth and hard flat plane dental splints can be effective at reducing symptoms from the jaw joint (T.M.J.) but they do not actually reduce the clenching habit. In fact, some patients report that they actually 'like' biting into soft Night Guards. An NTI tss ®   appliance will effectively reduce the intensity of the clenching habit during sleep and the headache pain that comes along with it.
