White Filling in Molar Tooth :

This young person presented with Dental Decay (Dental Caries) in a molar tooth.

Cavities like this typically start inbetween teeth especially if someone frequently consumes sugar in their diet and does not floss every day.

The Decay has been removed and the cavity filled with White Composite Resin

Decay spreads inside a tooth and so the final filling is usually a little larger that the initial apparent size of the cavity.

The Composite Resin material is bonded to the tooth
