DURING THE DAY It is our policy to see our patients in an emergency within 24 hours and usually on the same day. Cancelled appointments are usually available, but, just in case, we reserve a period every weekday, specifically for emergencies. Please telephone early in the day.
OUT OF HOURS
Denplan and Private Patients can be assured of our personal attention when the surgery is closed by calling
our separate Emergency Telephone Number
The number is in the practice information leaflet given to patients when they register.
N.H.S. Patients : Since 1st April 2006, the N.H.S. has taken back control of N.H.S. out of hours emergencies and their emergency
service is accessed through NHS Direct.

| DENPLAN HELPLINE Denplan patients should telephone us in the first instance where possible. If you are away from Bedford, the Denplan Helpline operates 24 hours a day for complete peace of mind. The Helpline staff are very experienced and will arrange emergency treatment for Denplan patients anywhere in the U.K. or abroad. The telephone number is on your membership card. |
